Required Equipment
- 18-inch steel stakes minimum (5/8″ diameter recommended)
- Minimum: 1 sandbag per D-ring outdoors, 2 sandbags per tether line
- Hammer / stake driver
- Gloves
Never substitute rebar, landscaping spikes, or tent stakes.
Anchoring Rules
- Every D-ring must be used — no exceptions
- Stakes driven straight at 90° angle
- Stake depth: only 1–2 inches visible
- Tether lines: ratcheted 6–7 feet from unit, snug, not pulling down
Wind Safety Rule
Immediate shutdown if:
- Sustained wind exceeds 15 mph
- Unit lifts, rocks, or shifts
- Anchors loosen
- Fabric flaps excessively
Anchoring does NOT make inflatables safe in high wind.
