Injury & Medical Incident
1. Stop Activity (Mandatory)
- Remove all participants from the inflatable immediately
- Shut down the affected unit immediately
- Power off blowers only when safe to do so
- Block entrances and exits
- Keep bystanders at a safe distance
- Maintain a calm environment
Critical Rule: Never move an injured person unless required to prevent further harm.
2. Assess The Situation
Determine minor vs major injury. Do not move the injured person unless required for safety. Keep bystanders back. Control the scene.
3. Provide Basic Care (Minor Only)
Allowed: Clean small wounds, apply bandages.
Not Allowed: No medication, no medical advice. If symptoms worsen, treat as a major injury.
4. Major Injury — Call 911 Immediately
- Driver calls 911
- Provide: exact location, nature of injury, age of injured person
- Stay on the line until instructed otherwise
5. Stabilize & Protect
Do not move injured person. Keep warm and calm. Maintain clear access for emergency responders.
6. Notify Management
Contact Operations Manager or Owner ASAP with: brief description, actions taken, EMS status.
Approved Language (Neutral & Calm)
“We’ve stopped the activity to make sure everyone is safe. Emergency services have been contacted to take care of the situation.”
Do NOT: assign blame, speculate, admit fault, discuss insurance or liability.
Documentation (Mandatory)
Incident Report must be completed same day, including: date & time, location, injured person’s name, age, description of incident, actions taken, witnesses, photos (if safe), EMS involvement.
